Get your lab lovin' in with Lab Rescue LRCP

Updated: Apr 3, 2022

Lab lovers, make sure you don’t miss this group! Lab Rescue LRCP is a non-profit volunteer organization that rescues, fosters, and finds forever homes for abused, neglected, and abandoned Labrador Retrievers in the states of Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

“We provide our Labs with veterinary care, spay or neuter services, and placement with foster families where they are loved while they await adoption. We are a virtual organization with Lab Rescue dogs fostered in homes throughout Virginia and Maryland. We can only do the lifesaving work that we do with the generous support of our donors and volunteers.”

Here is one of their adoptable dogs that is looking for their perfect match! Juno, aka June Bug, is truly blossoming from a shy pup to her very smart, very loveable and very happy self. She likes toys, walks, hikes, people love and cuddling. Check out their social media for videos (and more coming very soon) of Juno learning her commands, and doing an amazing job at that!! Juno is still a tad shy, and new humans just have to let her say hello first. It doesn't take long. Once she says hi, it's definitely "Hi, Friend!!" Juno is easy-going with baths and donning her harness too. Juno’s new family should be active, and ready to engage in extended interactive playtime in addition to long walks/runs and hikes. She would be an excellent candidate for agility training!

She is looking for a quiet rural or suburban home with a physical fence of 4.5+ feet. Juno is approved for children 16 and up as she needs a quiet home with few comings and goings. She gets along great with other dogs, but cats are unknown. She has a training addendum.

You can keep up with the rescue and all their adoptable dogs on their website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
