Puffie’s Pawz Rescue has joined Unleashed for many adoption events, often at our Cary store on Kildaire Farm Road, and we love having them with us every time!
Puffie’s is a small, family run rescue that was created in hopes of saving as many animals as possible. Their mission is to “help rescue unwanted, abandoned, and surrendered animals in need.” Puffie’s ensures that every dog and cat are up to date on their vaccines, have been well socialized with other animals, and are spayed/neutered. Puffie’s is a small rescue but they are a huge help to animals in need! They always have some lovable, sweet pups, so we know that they will have plenty of pets to love on at Spring Fling!
Meet Buddy, one of their available pets. Buddy is a beagle mix, around three years old. He is originally from Texas where he was part of a roaming pack of dogs. Thankfully, Buddy was one of the lucky ones and was eventually caught and made his way to Puffie’s Pawz. Here is what the people who love him have to say about Buddy.
"Buddy has been one of the most calm, loving, and willing to please dogs. Buddy is house/crate trained. He loves his female friends and he could play all day long with them. One of his favorite things to do is run in the backyard and sit under the sun! Not to mention he loves to be next to his people while relaxing. Buddy is one of the most mellow dogs we have and I think that Buddy will do best with someone who will understand his past! He definitely likes someone to go out for walks and he sure enjoyed a long day of hiking. Buddy is looking for an active family who will make part of the family."
