Goathouse Refuge is coming to Spring Fling!

Please help us welcome back another Spring Fling regular! The Goathouse Refuge is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal sanctuary dedicated to providing cage-free care for cats regardless of age, medical issues, or disposition until a permanent loving adoptive home can be found.

"There aren’t many places in today’s world that offer ongoing, unconditional care to animals in need, but that’s exactly what we provide at the Goathouse Refuge. We are a cat sanctuary, a place where cats that have been abandoned or lost can be safe and warm and happy, where cats who have had to live at the margins of the modern world can find a place where they are welcome."

The ultimate goal of the Goathouse Refuge is to "connect every cat with a loving family who wants to share their life with a wonderful feline companion." Since their founding in 2007, The Goathouse Refuge has placed over 4,000 cats into loving, permanent homes!

For cats who may not be suited to life in a typical home, whether because of medical issues or feral cats who prefer to stick to their wild ways, The Goathouse Refuge lets them stay at the Refuge where they can live as they please and be loved and cared for just the way they are. The sanctuary even takes in FIV+ cats, which are rarely taken elsewhere.

Meet Isis!

APPROX DOB: 7/1/2011

Beautiful Isis has been at the refuge since 2012. She was shy and overlooked for all the friendlier cats. She recently had dental surgery and is feeling so much better- Isis is now coming up to visitors wanting pets!!! She has the loveliest light green eyes and is solid white except for two grey marks on her sweet head!!

Their team loves the uplifting atmosphere at Spring Fling! Getting a bunch of animal-loving people together is always a good time!! Their favorite part is seeing all of the pets that that our Spring Fling attendees bring. Find their booth to browse through t-shirts, cat toys, bags of Dilworth coffee (that have their cats' photos on them!) hand towels, and lots of misc. cat and dog themed merchandise.
