First Food

Did you know that way back in 2007, Unleashed started selling Canidae pet foods while still at the Flea Market, even before the very first store opened!?


Inspiration

Canidae inspired a deep dive into pet nutrition and pet food! When the founders/owners of Unleashed were young retail employees with a new puppy, before the existence of Unleashed, they discovered that because Canidae was so nutrient dense, they could feed their 60 lb. young, active dog less of Canidae than cheaper brands. When they did the math, Canidae was actually less expensive to feed than cheaper brands over time because they had to feed so much less of it (about half as much!) This also had the added benefits of less poop and a healthier pup long-term! It was a win-win-win and such a revelation it inspired them to want to educate everyone that they could and also drove them to discover more quality pet food brands as well!


This desire to share the knowledge that you can feed your pet healthier without it having to cost more was part of the inspiration to open a pet store filled with the best products for dogs and cats at affordable prices too! Thank you Canidae!

About OC RAW


OC Raw, also known as Olivia’s Canines is a family-owned business born from a personal mission of making the best possible nutritious natural food for their dogs for a reasonable cost.
