Tara Lynn is a mom and journalist who has been photographing pets and their people since 2010. In addition to family and pet photography, she does small business branding sessions and volunteers hundreds of hours every year with animal rescues. She began photographing shelter pets in 2009 and this was the catalyst to her career change.


"Tara Lynn creates vibrant, love-filled photography for dog-loving families and brands, capturing the real, unfiltered moments that make life beautiful. Because if you wait for the ‘perfect time,’ you risk missing the moments that matter most."


 Tara Lynn Photography is committed to giving back to her community. Since 2009, she has photographed thousands of shelter pets to help them find forever homes. She has also captured the life-saving efforts of rescue organizations in action, using her images to share the powerful stores and inspire others to get involved. Each year, Tara Lynn Photography donates an average of 3-4 weeks' worth of photography to rescues in the Raleigh, NC, area!
