Spots and Stripes Forever Rescue

Spots and Stripes Forever Rescue is joining Spring Fling for their second time and we are happy to have them back. This small rescue based out of Sanford, NC, is home to dogs, cats, and equines (donkeys, mules, and horses,) and operates solely on donations.

The Spots and Stripes Forever Rescue Mission:

Our mission is to save the lives of stay, abandoned, abused, or surrendered dogs, cats, and equines in our local community. We provide them the care and shelter that they need and deserve, regardless of whether it's for the short term or long term. Those that are adoptable will be placed into loving and responsible homes.

While the rescue farm in Lee County houses many of the rescued animals while they await their forever home, they also utilize foster homes so that they can help more dogs and cats. Sometimes when a suitable home cannot be found, the animal will have a loving home at Spots and Stripes Forever Rescue for the rest of their life.

"Our dogs and cats are rescued from local shelters and our equines are rescued from "kill pens". Kill Pens are set up for equines who are headed to slaughter."

The rescue's future goals include adding a cat house/area that will allow them to help more with feral cats. They would also like to build more dog and equine facilities.

Facilitate Rescue Logo Banner

Facilitate Rescue Inc. is another amazing group that has joined us for past Spring Flings, and we are so excited to have them back again this year!

Established in 2017, Facilitate Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue organization dedicated to saving cats and kittens who are at risk of euthanasia. With the support of compassionate, dedicated fosters, volunteers, and generous donations, Facilitate Rescue saves numerous cats from the Harnett County Shelter in Lillington, NC, while also taking in cats and kittens from the local community.

FR Cat with Plant

Facilitate Rescue’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for every cat in their care. Each cat is placed in a foster home where they receive socialization, love, and medical attention until they are ready for adoption. This approach helps ensure that every cat has the best possible chance at a long, happy life in a forever home.

Like most rescues, Facilitate Rescue relies on volunteers and foster homes to save cats in need. They can only save as many cats as they have foster homes available so if you want to help out, fostering would be a great way to do that! Learn more HERE!

Meet Adoptable Dipper!

Adoptable Dipper

Dipper is a tiny black-and-white kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Confident, playful, and full of charm, he keeps everyone entertained with his silly antics and fearless curiosity. Whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring every nook and cranny, or demanding treats with his adorable meows, Dipper brings endless joy to those around him.

This little guy loves food, people, and adventure in equal measure—nothing fazes him! He’s been fostered in a busy home with young kids, other cats, and a dog, and he takes it all in stride. After a long day of play, he’s happiest curling up on your lap, purring himself to sleep. Dipper is ready to bring fun, love, and snuggles to his forever family! Apply to adopt him HERE!
