Triangle Canine Club will be at Spring Fling!

Though this name may not be familiar this group is a returning Spring Fling attendee, and we are excited to have them back again this year! Not only that, but they are also a Community Sponsor this year as well, so a huge thanks because we couldn't make Spring Fling happen without the support of our sponsors!

Triangle Canine Club, as it is now known, aims to build up the dog community in Raleigh-Durham area, by connecting dog owners with related businesses and organizations. They host meetups and tons of fun events throughout the year, each one serving as an opportunity to fundraise for local rescue groups.

Triangle Canine Club is made of entirely volunteers. Their events range from festivals to group walks, and all kinds of other fun things. They accomplished so much in 2024- take a look!

In 2024, as The Dog Moms of Durham, we hosted a total of 16 social meet ups, attended 10 community dog events, hosted 5 large festival/fundraising events, hosted 1 educational class, and volunteered at local shelters 5 times. These events helped raise over $10,000 for local rescue organizations!

This year, they are hoping to increase that amount raised with more events, and you can help! Stop by their booth at Spring Fling to learn how and say hello. You can also keep up with them on their website and Instagram.

Triangle Barkitecture is another group new to Spring Fling and we are so excited to have them! This non-profit was started in September of 2019 and they are helping raise awareness and funds for rescue pets in the coolest way!

"Triangle Barkitecture is a one-of-a-kind pet architecture and design competition to raise money for pets in need by supporting local foster and pet rescue organizations right here in the Triangle. Local architects, engineers, designers, and creative minds all over the Triangle compete to create the best custom pet architecture that is then auctioned off at the event with 100% of those profits going to pets in need."

Joshua with Triangle Barkitecture says they are most looking forward to the "opportunity to promote the Barkitecture event and our rescue partners to get more eyes on them and their missions. We love that Spring Fling invites so many rescues and supports them and we want to be a part of that to help raise awareness."

They are a volunteer task force donating 100% of the proceeds from the Triangle Barkitecture events to local pet rescues. This year's rescue partners are Saving Grace, Peak Lab Rescue, and Connie's Kittens. The 2023 event was their biggest yet, raising over $37,000!

Check out their website and socials, Facebook and Instagram, to keep up with updates on this year's event!
