Facilitate Rescue Inc. is another amazing group that has joined us for past Spring Flings, and we are so excited to have them back again this year!

Established in 2017, Facilitate Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue organization dedicated to saving cats and kittens who are at risk of euthanasia. With the support of compassionate, dedicated fosters, volunteers, and generous donations, Facilitate Rescue saves numerous cats from the Harnett County Shelter in Lillington, NC, while also taking in cats and kittens from the local community.

FR Cat with Plant

Facilitate Rescue’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for every cat in their care. Each cat is placed in a foster home where they receive socialization, love, and medical attention until they are ready for adoption. This approach helps ensure that every cat has the best possible chance at a long, happy life in a forever home.

Like most rescues, Facilitate Rescue relies on volunteers and foster homes to save cats in need. They can only save as many cats as they have foster homes available so if you want to help out, fostering would be a great way to do that! Learn more HERE!

Meet Adoptable Dipper!

Adoptable Dipper

Dipper is a tiny black-and-white kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Confident, playful, and full of charm, he keeps everyone entertained with his silly antics and fearless curiosity. Whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring every nook and cranny, or demanding treats with his adorable meows, Dipper brings endless joy to those around him.

This little guy loves food, people, and adventure in equal measure—nothing fazes him! He’s been fostered in a busy home with young kids, other cats, and a dog, and he takes it all in stride. After a long day of play, he’s happiest curling up on your lap, purring himself to sleep. Dipper is ready to bring fun, love, and snuggles to his forever family! Apply to adopt him HERE!

Canine Community Outreach of North Carolina has joined us for Spring Fling multiple times in the past, and we are so excited to have them again this year! This team works hard to close the gap between affordable spay/neuter and their community through education.

Co-founders Colleen and Kate share a lifelong passion for pets, especially rescue dogs. They met in 2019, and the rest is history! While they love rescuing, their real goal is to reduce pet overpopulation and lessen the number of pets in need of rescue in the first place.

Canine Community Outreach of NC is dedicated to improving the lives of both dogs and their humans by promoting and enabling spay/neuter services. Through education and accessible resources, they empower pet owners to make responsible choices, ultimately reducing the number of homeless dogs in North Carolina.

In addition to raising awareness of the need to spay and neuter and providing funds for special cases and assistance with spay/neuter costs, their Sasha-Bean Memorial Fund helps one organization each year in their work to stop pet overpopulation.

Why spay or neuter your pet?

  • It reduces euthanasia! Fewer unwanted litters means less overcrowding at animal shelters and less unnecessary euthanasia.

  • It can help behavior issues! Some negative behaviors related to the mating instinct, like roaming or aggression, can be reduced after spay or neuter

  • It's cost-effective! It can be less expensive to have your dog spayed or neutered vs. birthing and raising a litter of puppies.

Turtle Pants Farm Logo Banner

Turtle Pants Farm is joining us for their first Spring Fling! They are a small family farm in rural Chatham County, North Carolina. The farm operates as an all-species rescue/sanctuary - taking in, vetting, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals of various species and backgrounds. The belief at Turtle Pants Farm is that all animals deserve a caring, loving forever home.

This little farm is a recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization, offering sanctuary and potential adoption for species ranging from cats, dogs, and chickens, to donkeys and cows. The sanctuary animals all live in Pittsboro, North Carolina. Dogs and cats for adoption are spread out in foster homes around the Raleigh/Durham and Triad area.

Turtle Pants Farm works to provide a safe space for animals in need, because they believe that all animals deserve a chance to survive and thrive. They are an entirely volunteer and foster-run organization, meaning 100% of all donations go directly toward the care of animals in their rescue.

Their goal is to provide sanctuary for all species that need a safe home, and to provide a temporary foster home for adoptable animals while they are in transition to their forever home. The Turtle Pants Farm team also continually strives to educate the public on proper care, feeding, and vetting of all shapes, sizes, and species animals.

"You’ll never meet hearts bigger than the folks who run TPF. We are a welcoming community of friends and neighbors who simply want to help animals in need."

Be sure to stop by their booth to learn more about their mission and browse rescue merchandise (handmade mugs, totes, pet accessories) that is made by their hardworking volunteers - and all proceeds go back to the animals at Turtle Pants!

You can also learn more on their website and stay up to date on their social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram!
