Carolina Boxer Rescue was founded by three North Carolina women in 2001 who knew they were meant to make a difference in the lives of dogs in shelters. They grew their rescue and now focus on find ways to “balance the health, safety, and welfare needs of Boxers in the Carolinas (and parts of Virginia).” They do this by ensuring that they give the dogs they rescue a safe and loving environment where they can recover from what abuse or abandonment they have gone through. They give every animal in their care all that they need and rely on the help of volunteers and fosters to do so. Their work results in some happy wagging nubs from the boxers they save and happy families who get to welcome a new forever friend!

Chihuahua Rescue & Transport is a rescue group that is foster based and finds Chihuahuas or Chihuahua mixes into forever homes that understand the responsibilities of being a pet owner and the specific needs of Chihuahuas as a breed. This rescue also works to educate the public on issues the breed faces, such as their extremely high rates of abandonment and shelter euthanasia. Chihuahua Rescue & Transport does everything they can to fight this by placing thousands of Chihuahuas into loving new homes.
