Love Mutts Rescue is a non-breed-specific dog rescue operating in central North Carolina and south central Virginia. They are a volunteer based group that work hard to rescue dogs that come from all backgrounds.

Once rescued, they provide them with appropriate medical care, and place them in foster homes where they can be loved and nourished while they await their forever home. Their goal is to help all dogs that come into the rescue and find the families that are destined to be theirs.

German Shepherd lovers, here's a group you won't want to miss!

Freedom German Shepherd Rescue is a dedicated group of volunteers working to save neglected, abused, and abandoned German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes across North Carolina. Their dogs may come from shelters, from owners who can no longer care for their dog, or from partner rescues. All their dogs live in foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. That way, they can get an idea of the kind of home that would best suit each dog, as well as start on basic training and get an idea of each dog's personality.

This group prides themselves on doing what is best for each dog in their care. This includes a several step application process to find the best fit for each dog and for each applicant.

You can see some of their adoptable dogs before Spring Fling as well! They have an adoption event each month at our Crescent Commons location in Cary at 2066 Kildaire Farm Road. Puffie's Rescue is ready to play at Spring Fling!

Puffie’s Rescue and Unleashed have worked together at many adoption events, and we love having them with us every time!

Puffie’s was created in hopes of saving as many animals as possible. Their mission is to “help rescue unwanted, abandoned, and surrendered animals in need.” Puffie’s ensures that every dog and cat are up to date on their vaccines, have been well socialized with other animals, and are spayed/neutered. Puffie’s is a small rescue but they are a huge help to animals in need! They have some lovable, sweet pups with them always, so we know that they will have plenty of pets to love on at Spring Fling!
